good 20 inch rear rim

Hello
I need to replace my rear wheel on my trek r200 recumbent. I've looked for the same rim a Bontrager Maverick, but can't seem to find one. Any one know where I can get em? I'll also bne willing to try another rim if anyone knows of a good sturdy weight bearing one. I probably need to rebuild an entire wheel with a new freehub for a shimano 8 speed....Thanks for any info, Roger

Two possibilities: www.gaerlan.com and http://store.valueweb.com/servlet/poweron/StoreFront
for wheel suppliers. Make sure you get the right rim: likely to be 406 size (it will be on the side
wall of the tire). They come in several widths, for tire sizes ranging from 25mm wide to 38 and
up mm. Velocity rims are a good choice. Short of 300# status it is unlikely to be a problem with
strength, 406 wheels are intrinsically pretty stout on size alone.

Sun CR18 is a good rim. I also have a set of Velocity Synergy rims. How many spokes? If you have 32 or more most double wall rims of this size should be pretty much bomb proof. As sch mentioned be sure of the rim size. 406mm and 451mm are both 20" but very different sizes.

Thanks for the info

Hello all and thanks
I took the easy way and ordered an economy wheel from Hostelshoppe.com.
