Crank arm hits cainstay!
I am building a Nashbar X cyclocross frame with Truvativ Rouleur compact cranks and Giga pipe GXP external bearing BB. When I installed the drive side crank arm it hits the chainstay without even tightening it down and the big chainring is ultra close to the chainstay as well. Do I need a different BB? I don't know what the recomended spacing is on the frame (its not posted anywhere). The rouleur is a 2 piece crank so my guess is the space between the two crankarms are going to be what their going to be and a BB change wont help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Depending on how much room is needed, you might be able to get away by placing a spacer between the bottom bracket bearing housing and the frame..
Most likely, you need a longer bottom bracket spindle.. with two piece crankset.. I don't know what you'd do.

Check https://www.sram.com/_media/techdocs/...aPipe-e-r2.pdf, it lists the various configs along with chainline (which is your current problem).
