Bent Fork!
So I managed to bend my front fork on my steam roller while removing the bike form a car. The one arm of the fork is bent on two axises. I know the situation doesn't look good, but are there any techniques for straightening the fork, or should I scrap it and get a new one?

Call me The Breeze
Park makes a fork straightener, but I've never used it and don't know how easy it is. I'm almost positive that it would cost more than a fork though!
So... were you taking the bike off your car?

The fork can be straightened, but to do it properly you need both a fork alignment guage and lever - very expensive. If you bent the fork blade to the side and forward and back a good shop can straighten it, but don't do it if the metal is buckled at all. If you twisted it I would advise not even trying.
I once managed to straighten a fork with no tools or guage after it jumped off a van two blocks from the hotel the night before TOSRV in Ohio, and it tracked perfectly, but that was a fluke even for an experienced frame person.

I'd just buy a new fork. You can take your slightly bent one to the LBS and ask them if it's possible to be realigned.
