Grease on V-Brake post?

Should the v-brake post be greased (or lubricated)?

I know that joint doesn't see high speed action (or much action), but I have a habit of greasing sliding surfaces. Or will grease at the joint be nothing more than a dirt magnet?

Thoughts?

Grease, yes, good for all sliding surfaces on a bike.

When in doubt, grease it.
