Center pull brakes on newer fork?

I have a '93 Trek 930 MTB with the original suspension fork on it still....no longer works well though. I'd like to put a rigid fork on it, but all the rigid forks I find online....new or used on ebay.... don't have the cable housing stop anymore. I'd like to keep the center-pull cantis if possible.

I need a 1 1/8" threadless fork with a housing stop, or some kind of adaptor.

Thanks for any help....

Get a headset mounted cable stop.

Thanks.....I haven't seen one of those before. Can you point me to a site that carries 'em?

That pic is from harris cylcery's webpage, it's the first one that came up when I googled it. The one shown is for a threaded headset. I don't know if they have one for 1 1/8 threadless. You could probably modify it to make it work though. Try your LBS, they probably have something laying around.

yeah...I just googled it myself and found the one at Sheldon's site. I'll call around...there are lots of shops around here.

Thanks for the help.
