10 spd Ultegra cassette Mavic ES spacer question
Hi. I bought Mavic Ksyrium ES wheelset for Shimano and a Ultegra CS-6600 10 speed (12-25) cassette.
The Mavic ES rear wheel came with a Mavic spacer and the Shimano Ultegra 10 speed cassette also came with a shimano Spacer. Do I need to use both of them or use just one of them? My casssette is not a 8/9 speed so please reply only if you know the answer for the 10 speed set up. Thanks very much!

Use both. Your MAVIC hub was designed to work with a MAVIC cassette. Shimano, SRAM, Campy, etc. are narrower and need the MAVIC spacer. The spacer that came with your 10-speed cassette is needed because 10-speed Shimano cassettes are narrower than 8/9-speed cassettes.
