Shimano M959 Pedal Broke-Help
 

My M959 mountain bike pedal clipped a rock and the adjustment screw popped out of the hole that the screwhead goes through. I cannot get it back in and at the same time load the spring. I see how it works, but with the back of the spring pushing against the plate that is attached to the screw, and with the spring under load, I cannot figure how to get it in place with the screwhead in the hole.

Vise-grip?
