Zero Gravity Brakes
here's the deal: i have a pair of 2006 zero gravity brakes. neither i nor my lbs mechanic/s are able to stop the rear caliper's pads from rubbing the rear rim's braking surface. the pads literally hover over the braking surface, which i'm sure invites the rubbing. and it's not a wheel truing issue. i'm well aware of the overall finicky-ness of these brakes, but i'm hopeful that there's something that'll remedy the situation. anyone out there have a pair of the 06 model? do you know of a glitch in that year's production? any comments, thoughts? thanks.

You may also want to check if there're any compatibility issues with certain rims. I have a set of Shimano rims and an Alex Rims, and they are several millimeters different in terms of the width of the braking track- I have to adjust the open rest position of the brakes when I switch between them. You may have a more severe version of this problem? One possibility, I guess.
