replacing spokes on a mfg'd wheel

Hello -

There's a possibility I'll be picking up a used wheelset - which is just fine as-is - but I'd like to change out the spokes to Sapim CX-Rays. Now, my question is - if I disassemble the wheels, would the spokes that I take away from the current set up be indicative of the spoke length I'll be needing for the new spokes? Assuming I'm keeping the same lacing style.

Also - where is the cheapest place to pick up CX-rays??? :D

Yes, the spoke length will be the same. Be sure you bring the tension down SLOWLY when you take the wheels apart, ie., a 1/4 turn at most on each spoke all the way around. Not sure who sells CX-Rays, honestly...
