deraliuer bent and spokes snapped.

hi, i have a hope big'un hub with sram 9spd cassete on a mavic d521 rim wheelbuild recently rebuilt by my lbs. today i landed a jump and my rear derailleur got caught in my spokes and snapped one and then bent the two next to it. the derailleur itself is all fine however the rolling cog (the thing the chain goes around) on the bottom of the derailleur is bent out slightly along with the bottom of the derailleur itself. also, my wheel now rubs against my frame where the spoke is snapped which i've been told will happen when a spoke is snapped.

if i bend the derailleur back into place will it still be ok to ride, and if i get the wheel retrued and new spokes fitted will it be ok?

thanks, Jamie

the bike shop may have a tool to straighten out the gear hanger. This is most likely bent.
I have straightened them with an adjustable spanner though

lots of bikes have replacable hangers. To stop the frame from getting bent. If thats bent...they can be straightened some times.

But can break off there designned too.

I have tried to straighten Mechs too. Maybe take off the cage and straighten it on the bench.
