Problem shifting to inner chainring when climbing
Just had new LX crankset fitted and I can't shift down to inner chainring when the chain is under load climbing.
Is this just a L-screw adjustment? Thought I'd ask before playing with derailer as everything else is shifting well. |
If you had this done at a shop, let them correct their problem. This should have been included in the work done at the shop.
Yes, there is an inner chainring adjustment screw and it shouldn't need much to make this change. |
It could be an L-screw adjustment or it could be the fd's alignment or distance above the big ring. Or, you could be trying to shift under a very high load and no fd/crank combination will shift well under those conditions.
