Bottom Bracket Shell Protruding

I've replaced and installed over 100 bottom brackets in my life, this my sound lame but I can get this one in.
When I thread in the drive side in all the way, I can seem to get the non drive cup in all the way without protruding significantly, this happenens when threading the non drive in first. Any suggestions?

Ive done the 73 in a 68 before in a pinch. Just throw some spacers in there. As long as your crank ends up in the right place, your golden.

Holly connoly! wrong bottom bracket in the box 73mm in 68mm box. Hewww, I thought I was losing it for a while
