Bottom Bracket Size: Sinlge Chainring to Double
I was wondering how to determine the correct cartridge bottom bracket length for the following:
SOMA double cross
68mm English thread bb
currently running a 9 speed rear
135mm rear hub
single 42th chainring up front
Sugino RD 170mm Cranks
Currently using 107mm Cartridge BB
I would like to :
Add a second chainring 36th ( I know the crank is 110bcd)
Add Front derailer ( I have a Shimano Deore for Triple's, shifter etc.)
Can I get away with using the same BB or do a I need a longer bb 110mm 113mm etc. to compensate for the additional chainring?
