Shimano 10speed to 9 speed hub ?s
Can you put a 9 speed freehub on a Shimano rear hub that is presently 10 speed only. You can skip the replies on shiftmate as this is will solve the problem but not really what I want to do. Thanks.
This is a road application if it makes any difference and the wheels are Shimano made wheels & hubs.

Unfortunately, these hubs use a completely different internal design from other Shimano Freehubs, so you cannot transplant a 9-speed compatible Freehub body to them.
