Bottom Bracket Questions...
'04 TCR with a BB-6500
Took the old one out and it feels a little rough so I'm going to replace it.
1) Should I buy some good grease like Phil's Waterproof Grease or just use what I have in the garage (Quaker State multi-purpose grease and wheel bearing lubricant or Super Tech extreme pressure multi-duty complex hi-temp grease)?
2) Should I install the drive side first or does it matter?
3) Also, LBS only has one BB-6500 (109.5) in stock and the non-drive side threaded part is jacked up but the other half is brand new. Said she'd sell it to me for $45 instead of the normal $65 and I'll just use the threaded side off my old one. Sound like a good deal?
4) What's the BC 1.37 x 24? The one at the LBS has a slightly different number here. I forget what she said exactly, 1.36 x 25 or something? But the BB-6500 and the 109.5 are the same.

1. It's a sealed unit. You don't need to grease it; just install it.
2. Yes, and yes, it matters.
3. You shouldn't have any problems using your old retaining ring.

Two different BB-6500, 109.5 will have different threads?

Yeah, I'd grease the threads; I thought you were referring to the bearings in your OP. Any decent grease should do.
The 109.5 is the spindle length in mm. and has to do with your chainline. You should use the same length as the original one, which it sounds like you are doing.
Yes, it's normal for manufacturers to make their BBs in different thread patterns to fit different frames.

You're welcome, and good luck. BTW, the Park Tool website says either mild locktite or grease on the fixed cup side and grease only if the non-drive side is a plastic cup. It wouldn't hurt anything to review the Park page on BB installation before you procede:
