How to measure headset specs

I have an older Schwinn Voyageur 11.8. How do I measure the headset specs? I have the headset removed from the frame.

You almost certainly have a 1" threaded headset, from the age of the bike.

Measure your headtube length (not including the cups), and subtract that from the steerer length to give you your headset's stack height. If you have any spacers (but not the flat keyed washer), subtract that thickness, too.

It looks like the caliper measure I have gives 21.1x30x25.4 I will check the stack height as well.

The stack height is really only important to know if you'll be replacing the headset.

With a .833/21.1 stem, its sort of an odd size, seemingly half ISO and half BMX
