Don't buy any wheelset that has a G3 spoke pattern on the *front* wheel. Buy any other Campy wheel (or Fulcrum, since they're made by the same folks).

Rear is fine for G3. G3 is not intended for front wheel use, even if Campy builds a front wheel that uses G3. Do you see any Fulcrum 2:1 front wheels?

Well...the new Fulcrum RedMetal MTB wheels but that has to do with disc brakes.

It's to equalise spoke tension on highly dished wheels. But by putting it on the front, it merely introduces an imbalance where there was none. (source white mountain wheels)

That's one function. The other is to allow the spokes to act in groups as opposed to dealing with the compression and torsional forces individually. There are several wheels out there built with the same concept in mind.
