Track hub sizes

I am going to be order parts today to build my first wheel. It is going to be a rear track wheel and would like to do a Mavic Open Pro rim laced to a Surly track hub. I noticed they come in two different widths. My bike is currently spaced at 126mm (old Centurion Ironman). I am looking at the "new" Surly track hubs and they come in two sizes; 120mm and 130mm. Which of these hubs would be the best option?

Either one, you'll either be squeezing the stay together slightly while tightening the wheel, or spreading them apart when inserting the wheel. Chainline is the same either way.

50 / 50, apples and oranges, ying or yang.

Personally, I'd go with the 120.

120 and get some spacers* from your local hardware store.

* - a.k.a. washers

IRO also has nice rebadged Formula hubs that can be spaced at 126mm.
