SRAM X-0 trigger shifter - disassembly issues

While i was looking for the screws to remove the cover off the SRAM trigger shifters, i accidentally removed the 2 small philips screws at the *bottom* of the rear der. trigger shifter. Once i did this, the spring that returns the shift lever back to its initial position seems to have been "disconnected"....Before i go in and screw it up even more, i was wondering if anyone here has dis-assembled the sram x-0 shifters and knows what i'm talking about...

These take a bunch of patience and dental floss helps too. I have had one of my mechanics do this and after alot of frustration on his part then on mine we called sram and they just had us send it back and they were nice and warrentied it for us. After that I was determined to figure it out and did but it took a bit. Not sure on how to explain it but the key is holding the spring in place with the dental floss and once you get it back together pull the floss out.

It seems that you accomplished this by the skin of your teeth.
