Alex DV30s

Does anyone know anything about Alex DV30 triple wall rims? I have one, and I've had nothing but trouble from it. It's drilled for Scraeder, but the rim is too deep for most pumps to catch the valve. Tires are nearly impossible to install (It took me 2 hours to get one mounted) and The thing is rediculously heavy. I can't even find the model on the website!

help!

1) Drilled for schraeder - doesn't mean the rims is bad
2) Rim is too deep for regular length valve - doesn't mean the rim is bad
3) Tire is tight on the rim - again doesn't mean the rim is bad

They are good rims, nearly bombproof - wouldn't hesitate to use it for touring.

Easy enough to solve the Shrader valve issue. Most any LBS will have an adaptor sleeve to enable you to use a Presta, then you can go nuts with whatever length valve you want.
