Chain Maintenance
What chain lube will let my chain move the easiest, for minimum power loss ?
How much weight will this kind of lube add to my bike ? If the chain lube is rotating weight is that really as bad as they say ? Is it better to use less for low weight or more for lubrication? |
Depends. Are you a republican or a democrat?

The lube is really a matter of preference. What does count is keeping everything clean and lightly lubed so the chain rollers roll easily. Run your fingers back and forth along the top of the chain. You should be able to feel the rollers turning smoothly. If not, it ain't clean enough for optimal performance.
"Which lube" has been debated here so much that the guys just walk over the edge whenever it's brought up. Don't expect a straight answer on this. bk |
