Shifter - is it 9 or 10 speed?
I just bought a set of used Shimano Ultegra STI shifters that were advertised as the 6600 10-speed. However, before I installed the right shifter I tried it out and I only count 9 clicks up and down. I haven't installed it yet, but it seems to me I may have a 9 speed? Not being installed on the bike has nothing to do with it does it? Is there any "tell tale" sign I can look for that will indicate it's the 6600 10-speed? It looks just like the 10-speed Ultegra on my other bike.

Never mind. Boy do I feel stupid. You start in gear one. Nine clicks more and you in the tenth. I wish I could erase this thread!
