Chain guard to fit bike

I have purchased a new bicycle (Jamis Allegero 3x) with FSA Vero triple w/Power Drive, 50/39/30,
170mm crankset. Does anyone know which brand/type of chain guard that will fit the. I've tried Emailing both Jamis and Fhs, but no one seems to have an answer.

I wouldn't bet on finding an aftermarket chain guard to fit a bike that has a triple crankset and a front derailleur. It's usually hard enough to make an aftermariet chainguard fit a bike that has a single front chainring.

I see these on eBay all the time and Velo Orange used to sell them. It's a pain to set up and you have to be careful not to bump it with your foot and make it rub. It will work with a triple.

Old school, but..

How about a chainring guard like you would find on old ten-speeds?

I bought a new crankset for my mountain-bike from Nashbar a couple of months ago and they offered with or without the chainring guard. Price was same for both, so I got it with the chainring guard.

With love,

The chainguard you want is the Hebie 591.

Give the guys at www.ucycle.com a call and they can get you one. You will, however, have to swap out your big chainring for a 48t from your current 50t.
