That would remove the crank arm. It will not do squat for the BB.

It's hard to tell. Like Trenches said, the Park CCP-2 will remove the cranks, but removing the bottom bracket is another kettle of fish entirely. This Park page should tell you what you need to know:

Bikes: '''96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '12 Surly Pacer, All are 3x8,9 or 10. It is hilly around here!

It appears to be a cup-and-cone bottom bracket. You will need a lockring tool (Park HCW-5) and a pin spanner (HCW-4 or SPA-6) to remove the non-drive side lock ring and cup (standard right hand threads) and a "fixed cup tool" (also HCW-4) to remove the drive side cup (most likely left-hand threaded).

If this is a one-time removal and you are going to replace the bb with a modern cartridge type, have a bike shop do the job. It will be cheaper than buying all of the tools for a single use.
