Mavic Carbon Fork, Need Info

I recently picked up a used, Mavic carbon road fork off of CL. It's a perfect fit for my 91 C'dale SR400. The one inch, threaded steerer fits with no additional spacer needed.

I tried to find information about this fork. Where there any problems? Why did Mavic stop making them? Also, I'm a tad heavy at just over 200lbs. Is that a problem with this fork?
Any information, comments are welcome.
Thanks

Mavic never made a fork. that looks like an old Profile fork that someone put Mavic stickers on.

Actually, it looks a lot like the Kestrel EMS Pro fork. The EMS Pro had all carbon legs and crown bonded to a metal steerer while the Profiles had an Al crown so I think this is the Kestrel.

The EMS Pros were available with 1" threaded Cr-Mo stems and are still offered with 1-1/8" threadless Al steerers. They are decent forks, made in Asia (like almost all carbon forks), and they sold brand new for about $175. I bought a new Cr-Mo steerer version on sale from Nashbar for $100 a few years ago.

One side view pic coming up!

Many thanks for the information provided so far. Now that I understand that Mavic didn't make the fork, I took a closer look at the steerer. There's a label with a logo so small, I needed a magnifying glass to read the name under the logo. It's an "Advanced" brand fork. Looks like a Taiwan company that makes OEM forks. Note: I put up one pic of the old fork and the carbon fork. (Sorry about the camera shake) The race on the carbon fork looks flat, is that because it's designed for a cartridge? The original fork has a 1" bearing race.
Thanks again for any information/comments.
