Tire/Rim size question... help

I think it's a dumb question and in the wrong forum, but anyone with a quick answer would be appreciated. The question is: I am trying to replace the 20x2.125 MTB tires on my daughter's bike with some easier to ride semi-slicks. The rim says 20x1.5. So, can I buy any 20x1.5 tires to these rims?

yes

Thanks for the help. Now as I am looking around, it doesn't appear to be tires in the size 20x1.5. Given that the current tire size is 20x2.125, does that mean I can buy any tire size beween 20x1.5-2.125?
