long axle for campy track hub?
I got some wheels today for a fixed gear bike i'm building. The frame is a late 70's or early 80's colnago, and the rear spacing is 126mm. The hubs are old campy record track hubs. So my problem is that the rear axle is not long enough. I am definately NOT going to squeeze it to make it fit. I think i need to get a longer axle and use some spacers to make it work.. but i'd like some reassurance! do i need special campy specific axles?

Campy axles are threaded 10mm x 26TPI, and all the rest are 10x1.0mm (except for coaster brake hubs and the like). They are not interchangeable. Wheels Mfg. makes one:

That's 174mm vs. a regular one at 155 or so.
