chainstay cable guide question
Hi,
I'm building up a 1996 Bianchi San Remo. On the right chain stay there is a cable guide which looks like this: https://www.novacycles.com/catalog/pr...oducts_id=1301
I've only worked on bikes that had cable stops on the chain stay, so I'd just cut a short piece of housing and route it to the rear derailleur.
What I'm wondering is how I work with this. Is there a cable stop that can just go into that little hole? It seems, on my bike at least, too narrow to fit cable housing through it. I can try to widen the hole, but I don't think that would be the right thing to do. (the website where I found the picture example says the bore is 4.3mm, but mine seems smaller than that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
