Campagnolo B-screw - source?

Hey all,
My rear derailleur (07 Centaur) is now missing the B-screw and the spring that wraps around it. Who stocks these? Is this something I can just ask my LBS to order? Campy's spare parts listing doesn't list the B-screw. Thanks!

I didn't search but are you sure your derailleur came with one? My Record (I have to confirm but the manual points it out :) ) comes with what might be called a C screw or an A screw - front of the lower pivot, replaces the B screw in functionality.

If the b screw actually fell out then ignore my post. Usually an adjusting screw will replace the B screw fine. If no spring is available use blue loctite.

Yeah, that's the one I meant. What adjusting screw will fit? I haven't tried, but it looks like a limit screw might work.

I don't think loctite will work because it doesn't really engage threads - just some cog-like teeth.

Call around and find a shop that keeps some defunct RD's around. We do this at work specifically for the purpose of supplying the little pieces/parts to people who need them. We normally give them away for free to pass on some good will ;-))))

As long as it fits, a screw's a screw.

Words to live by.
