will Sugino XD600 fit a Specialized Sirrus Comp?
Hello all! I have a question I hope you can help me with. I have a 2008 Specialized Sirrus Comp that I would like to replace the crankset on. I am trying to alleviate some knee pain that I have not felt with other bikes. I am relatively sure that it is not saddle height, fore/aft position, or pedal float. Right now the crank arms are 175mm. I have 33.5" inseam. The Sirrus is currently equipped with a sport cartridge, square taper, 68(?) x 113 mm bottom bracket and what Specialized calls Sugino Comp crankset. I would like to replace the crankset with 170 mm Sugino XD600 crankset. Will it work with my bike? Both are Square taper and the XD600 is compatible with a 113 mm BB. I am also looking forward to the slightly smaller chainrings as I am a hill weenie ;-)! What do you all think? Thanks.

Switching cranksets should cause no problem. I couldn't say if it will alleviate your knee pain.
