Creaking Pedal
I have LOOK brand pedals on my road bike. I get this creaking noise from the right one. I don't know how to stop it. It only comes when I stand up and put a lot of weight on it (as in climbing and sprinting). Does anybody know how to stop this?

It could well be the cleats. Look cleats have a nasty habit of getting noisy. Try putting some lube [Pam actually works quite well] under the fore and aft catches on the pedal.

Make sure the noise is coming from the cleat and/or pedal, rather than from the crank or bottom bracket.

Another source of pedal/cleat creak/squeak I have seen referred to on Look is the contact area between the cleat and the shoe sole from slight flexing of the sole. The recommendation was to lightly lube the area with a little light grease before installing the cleats. BTW, a few months ago I had a squeak that turned out to be the edge of my shoe sole VERY lightly rubbing the crank arm. Half mm adjustment of the cleats eliminated the squeak.
