How To Install FSA IS headset

I am trying to install the FSA IS headset install at home without buying any special tools. Does anyone have any tips for me? This is my first headset install so any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

If you are including installing the crown-race and all, you really need special tools for this. It really can't be done with a hammer and screwdriver. Does the fork already have anything attached? More info is needed here.

No you don't. You can, with patience, install a headset with simple home rigged tooling. A length of PVC pipe, a long bolt, washers. A block of wood and a rubber mallet.

Easy, peasy, japanesy

I'll re-phrase - It really shouldn't be. At least not by someone who has not worked on bikes in the past/present a great deal. I'd wait and invest in the proper tools, or take it to my LBS. But that's perfectionist me!;)

This is an "Integrated Headset" right? AFAIK, the bearing cartridges slip right into the machined ends of the headtube and there are no tools needed to install them.

The "crown race" (actually just a bearing seat) presses onto the fork's steerer just like any other type of crown race and the standard tools or punch and hammer technique can be used.
