MTB tire size question
 
I've converted an old GT MTB to a SS and am enjoying it. It has 1.5" wide rims running 1.9" tires. Can I safely run 1.5" tires on the 1.5" rims??

IF they are "marked" 26x1.5", then you could safely go to 1.25" if you want.

yeah, bill is right. don't know why youd wanna go that low, but you could.

Thanks, I'll be going with 1.5's then. Didn't want to spend money and have my tie bead unseat downhill at speed :0(
