Freewheel hub with disc br mount?

I thought i might be able to find this on Phil Woods site, but no luck. Looking for a 6spd 130mm freewheel hub with disc mounts. Anyone seen one? Anyone build one?

That'd be a very odd beast, mixing characteristics from two widely separated eras. I've seen on once, on a very rare touring bike. Odds are it wouldn't be compatible with today's calipers anyhow. If you desperately want one I'd suggest you start with a MTB freehub. Remove a spacer and you've got 130 mm. Slap a 7-spd body and cassette on it, use limit screws to dial out one of the positions. Or disassemble cassette and get creative with the spacers.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

You could try to find a BMX hub body that is disc compatible then re-spce the axle and add a freewheel. I took a quick look and I could not find a disc compatible bmx hub, though. I am sure somebody makes it.

Or you can have an adapter made ina machine shop that allows you to attach threads for a freewheel where the freehub is suppoed to go. This could be expensive unless you know someone with a machine shop.

I think you might be better off adding a 7speed freehub to a Shimano 9speed disk hub, respacing the axle, and assembling a custom casette to match the freewheel you want.

Freehubs are better than freewheels.

Try contacting Phil Wood and tell them what you want. I'm sure they have the knowledge and equipment to build it.

Here's a way to get one.
Take a disc brake free-hub and convert it with a Surly Fixxer. Not cheap.

I'm assuming you can screw a freewheel on it, should be the right threads.

White Industries makes an Eno hub like that. I have one. It is a fantastic hub. Pricey though.
