XTR 952/Cantis

I am new at building a bike frame up. I have a set of XTR 952's that I would like to use with a fork that will not accept V- brakes. From what I have read my only other choice is to use Avid mechanical discs. I would like to use cantilever brakes. Is this possible with or without modding? The frame I am building is a Trek 7900 comp w/a Bontrager Satellite Plus carbon fork.

Your question isn't very clear. As best as I can understand, you don't have canti bosses so you'll either need to use a disc brake (assuming the fork has mounts for that) or a drum brake.
