Re-stick this rim sticker? How? Water proof glue?

Cleaning up my rim, packing bearings, etc, and the sticker came loose. I'd just tear it off, but there are no other markings on it to identify the rim.

Any suggestions on what to use to re-glue it? Its on a MTB, so it will get plenty of grime, dirt, water. I ride this bike in everything.

Thanks for the ideas.

If it were me, I'd carefully remove it and keep it an a safe place, labeling it so I know which bike it came off of. That way you know what the rim is, and you don't have to worry about re-sticking it. I'm no help on an adhesive though...sorry.

If that bike isn't important, take it off and attach it to somewhere else on the bike, or whip out the permanent marker and write the info on it somewhere.
