Deda Fork Installation
Hi: does anyone have or know where I can find owner's materials and instructions for a Deda (Dedacciai) Black Magic fork?
I recently purchased one new (online NOS, closeout type business), but it came with no documents at all. I know that installing a fork is not rocket science (I've removed and replaced the existing fork), but I also understand that every brand has certain specs for stack height, installation of the tightening device (compression plug, starnut, whatever), need for spacer above the stem, etc. etc.
It seems that that some companies are pretty good about having installation instructions on their websites, even for older stuff. i've downloaded a lot of info like that. However, I've looked at www.dedacciai.com and they do not have any info at all on this fork. They do not even have any info (other than basic product info) on the current forks either.
If anyone has materials for this fork, I would be eternally grateful if you could scan them and email to me! Or if you know of a web address that has this sort of stuff for Dedacciai, I'd appreciate that too.

If the steer tube is carbon fiber use no more than 5 nm of torque, regardless of the torque specs on the stem.

Thanks. I have a torque wrench (and also a portable "torque key" tool) and tend not only not to ever exceed the torque spec, but generally tighten the steer tube stem bolts just enough to keep it tight, rather than up to full torque. I also plan to use torque paste.
I'm wondering if anyone has info on this specific fork. Particularly, I'm interested in the maximum stack height (by specification, not opinon). From what I've seen from online instructions for other carbon-steerer forks, it can vary pretty much between 40 and 50 mm. I know going 40 woudl be safe - I'm neither big nor strong so I don't stress parts too much. But, the reason I bought the new fork was to increase stack height as much as I could and I'd like to get 50 mm if it doesn't exceed the Deda spec.
I do know how to physically install it with the race, and using a torque wrench and the proper expander plug type thing.
Thanks for any info you can give.
