Sorry, afaik even the 8-speed ones are discontinued...
Bar end shifters?
New drivetrain components?

edit: nice find Joejack.

Wow! Good looking out Joejack. I think the ST-3300 are the 7 speed/double ones I'm looking for. It sucks bad that they stopped making them!

Shoot me a PM...I may have some 7-speed levers.

EDIT: Looks like they're a 2X8 RSX pair....

That's the thing that I like least about Shimano.

A year or so ago I actually bought a set of 9-speed Ultegra levers to keep as spares because I have two bikes that use them and I'm thinking that when they die Ultegra level replacements won't be available.

Shimano isn't the only one. 8-speed Campy is very much an orphan. 9-speed Campy is getting difficult to find and I expect the service parts are too. Since there were two 9-speed versions, it's even trickier.

Campy has also changed their 10-speed shifters twice. First was the '06 and earlier, next was the "QS" and "Ultrashift" for '09. Now that 11-speed is out, it will be interesting to see how long 10-speed is supported.

In another thread, I commented that it seemed as though Shimano was continuing to support the older groupsets by keeping 7 and 8 speed stuff in production when you stated the opposite. When I attempted to find Sora levers as of this post, I admittedly did not come across nearly the number of choices that I expected to find. It does seem as though Shimano has decided to stop making at least 7 speed Sora, or distributors are reluctant to stock it these days. Either way, I stand somewhat corrected :)

Tell me about it HillRider. No matter what anyone says, early and late 9 sp don't play nice together either. At least Campy still sells Ergo gears to downgrade post 98 brifters to 8 sp.
