It should be pointed out that not all types of grease are compatible. The old grease needs to be removed from the parts in question entirely using an appropriate solvent, then the parts need to be dried, before applying the fresh grease. Also, bearings need to be adjusted properly after the grease is applied. Grease will not make up for bearings that are too loose or too tight.
