stupid wheel(braided spokes)
Don't make fun of me
I built a wheel with braided spokes in this manner:
groups of three like a three leading three trailing but before running to the rim I braided each set three times (right spoke over middle spoke then left spoke over middle spoke then repeat two more times)
then to the rim in the same position as three lading three trailing.
I was really easy to true and tension and it feels extremely solid, but I just don't trust it
braided sections are extremely solid so I think I probably have deccent torsional strength
radial strength is obviously compromised and I don't know about lateral
Tell me what you think
And by the way it looks sweet

If this a front wheel there should be no concern at all. If rear wheel and
you are a high torque rider, you might have a possible shortened spoke
life from the angulation and bends in the spokes accomplished by the
braiding and tensioning. If it feels ok I wouldn't be concerned over riding
it. Radial spoking on the L side of the rear wheel is chancier in my
opinion and strong riders have doing those for years.

I feel like the bounciness of such a wheel probably inhibits my power transfer/ dampens my effort but I can live with it

I would check the tension very frequently if you actually plan to ride this wheel. A braided rear wheel is just a bad idea, and the front will more than likely have issues with staying true.
