xtr m960 on DB Response Comp ?
 

Does anyone know if an xtr m960 would work on my stock 2008 DB Response Comp ?

If it would work I was also going to pick up a SRAM X.9 to go with it. Would all that work together?

xtr m960 is a group, SRAM X.9 is a group. Whether one Shimano part works with one SRAM part would require knowing what the parts are. Shimano shifter w/ SRAM RD, probably not. Shimano crankset w/ SRAM FD, no problem. You need to specify what parts from each group you are trying to mate for anyone to give an answer.

Sorry I'm a newb. The xtr m960 is a shimano front derailer and says that it will work with top and bottom pull cable routing.

The SRAM x.9 left shifter says that it will work with any front derailer.

Is that enough info? I'm not sure.

You are good on the FD. If you go x.9 rear shifter the RD would have to be SRAM w/ 1:1 ratio. Shimano wouldn't work there.
