Can a Shimano Dura Ace CS-7700 9 Speed Cassette 12 - 27t work with a 7800 Shimano Dura Ace derallier?

Yes, as long as the shifters are 9 speed. The RDs are swappable, but the chain, cassette and shifters must match.

10 speed shifters 7800 are the ones I have!

Your wrong about

the cass, worked with 7800 RD ......ran like a charm smooth climbed 3400 feet in 45 miles rode awesome!

I have the same question about a 10 speed 12-27 Ultegra CS6600 cassette with 105 shifters and DR.

I assume the answer is the same?

Yes, if the chain, cassette, and shifters are all 10-speed then it should work fine.
