Seatpost / clamp problem.
Just bought a B72 saddel for my longtail made from an 90`s Everest alu MTB. The bikes seatpost is 29,6 and it is a modern micro adjust.
I`d like to put the B72 on this bike. It is a doubie rail saddel, and it is sold with a special clamp to use with the old style straight seatpost. I know that some time back I found somewhere on the net a flat piece that can be put between the rails and that way the saddle can be fitted on a modern micro adjust seatpost. Icould also use a 1mm shim to take it from 28,6 to 29,6 but would prefer to avoid shims. I`d like to buy one OR a straight alu seatpost 29,6. I`ve searched the net for days and decided to ask for help. Anyone know where to buy? I prefer UK or Europe (since not all US based shops ship to Europe). Thank you. |
That flat piece is called a "seat sandwich."
