Removing a crappy freewheel

Alright mechanics, I got a tricky one here. I have a crappy single speed Shimano freewheel that I am having a tough time removing. I cannot find the tool anywhere and I have tried everything I can think of short of cutting it off. It is already chipping pretty bad at the point where the removal tool should go so even if I could find the right tool it probably wouldn't work now. Any tips or suggestions for getting this sucker off? Will heating the freewheel help? I am almost ready to take a dremel cutter to it it but I thought I check here first. Suggestions?

Disassemble the freewheel, put a pipe wrench on it and twist!

I've tried to remove the face plate thing with the spanner but it is too tight and I cannot get it to turn. I'll try cutting it out with the dremel and then use the pipe wrench on the remaining part. Any idea if there is a way to lock up the wratchet/freewheel function so I can just backspin with the chain on the bike like a fixed cog?

Just crush the freewheel in a vice and spin it off, standard practice for cheap and nasty freewheel (no remover notches) removal.

The faceplate is reverse-threaded. Have you been trying to spin it counter-clockwise?

Noglider,
I wish I knew about the reverse threading issue. It took me and hour and a half with a dremel cutting wheel to get the damn faceplate and cog off. tomorrow I will take it to the bike shop to get them to take the rest of the body off. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
