April fools day w/out Sheldon

I always think about him on this day with his funny AFD write ups. Just ain't the same. I was hoping someone would pickup his torch. I guess he is one person that can't be replaced, only remembered.
Happy April Fools Day Sheldon.
Best, Charlie "this day just ain't the same" Murphy

See the "best way to clean a chain" thread going here today. Apparently not everyone is familiar with Sheldon's April Fools Day annual articles.

Wonderful! I know that my chain is happiest when I clean it piece-by-separate-piece.

Great! There is nothing more rewarding than a happy chain.

That's why I build my chains from just Powerlinks.

I only use Wipperman ConneX. About $5 a piece, but makes Sheldon's method so much easier...

I miss Sheldon's April Fools Day stuff, too. Last night I was actually cleaning my chain and thought about that great way of doing it Sheldon proposed. I thought today would be the perfect day to mention it.

Havine only started riding last June, I never knew Sheldon, I've read most of his stuff, though, and miss him nonetheless. It's tragic when such talent and the willingness to share, passes.

Replacing Sheldon would be as easy as finding another Johnny Carson.
