Has anyone tried the Lezyne floor pumps? They look very nice, and they seem to be relatively affordable. Probikekit has them.

They look really nice. There seems to be few reviews out there, but of the few I came across in a google search, they are all good. And the quality seems top-notch. They also have a 2 year warranty.

Silca track, 25+ years, still in use.

Measure your cost of a pump like this: $15 pump/1 year = $15 per year. $65 pump/25 years = $2.60 per year.

Renkompressor that came with comfy wooden handles, folding feet and an infuriating "smarthead". Replaced the latter with a dual head from a undeniably dead Topeak pump (had a huge dent in the pipe)...works like a charm.
I would reccomend using a couple friend's pumps and seeing which one you like. Availability of replacement parts is also a consideration.

How aboout this: Returned Silca bought from Nashbar's retail store remainder table for $12 about 15 years ago. Cost $12/15 = $0.80/year! Add two or three Presta head washers at $3 each and I almost double my annual cost!

What can you tell me about the Joe Blow warranty?
And where can I find some Joe Blow repair parts?

I've been told that Topeak has good customer service. Topeak sells a part kit for all their pumps. Though, it's a large kit for multiple rebuilds.

i am using the specialized air-tool competition. does have the smart-head feature, but has not ever given me any problems. keeps my presta 125 psi's topped off, and my wife's 100 psi schraeders in great shape. easily bought from local LBS, and re-build kits from the same place if it is ever needed.

Even better. :)

I was just making a point that more of the cheap pumps came into the shop with requests for parts than the better models. Cheap tools always let you down at the worst times. I bought another Silca for mobile repair just because the other one looks so ratty...maintaining a professional appearance and all. I expect to not have to buy a pump again...ever.

I went to an LBS to buy a new floor pump and I asked if I could go back into the shop and see what pumps they used. This was it, so I bought one.

So far I have had absolutely no trouble with it. Only had it about a year, but it works flawlessly.

I have the Charger, instead of the Supercharger because that's what my LBS had for sale. It works great. You just have to keep the chuck in-line with the stem when you take it off. If you don't it is a bear to get off. I found out by experience.

I just ordered a Lezyne Alloy floor pump through Amazon.com for $55 (+4.50 S&H). The actual vendor is a bike shop in Kentucky. It should arrive any day now. When it does I'll post an initial review. I have a Silca Terra - and have owned Blackburn, Park, Specialized, and SKS models over the years... I'm hoping it's the last floor pump I'll have to buy for many years. We'll see if I'm right.

I recently purchased a Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HP - and that led me to order the company's floor pump. Very nicely made and very slick in operation. I'll post a review shortly on a new thread for that one. If you like Topeak's RoadMorph (or MountainMorph for that matter) I think you'll like the Micro Floor Drive...
