How do you replace a Shimano Hub for Campy?

I just got a new set of wheels and they sent a Shimano 10 speed hub (red one) on the rear wheel instead of Campy 10/11 speed. They are sending me a Campy hub to replace the Shimano hub. They mentioned something about just needing to remove 2-5mm screws.

Is this a do-it-yourself item? I've done a lot work replacing gruppos but have not messed with wheels any.

Huh.

If you're replacing a hub, you're removing all the spokes, relacing, retensioing + truing that wheel. 2-5mm screws... wtf? Is there an error in terminology here? I'm guessing they're sending you a complete rear wheel on a campy hub... not just the hub for you to replace. This makes 0 sense.

I'm assuming your wheels use a hub from a manufacturer that offers both Shimano and Campagnolo frrehub bodies.
It would help a lot if you gave the manufacturer of the hub as the mounting of the freehub body is unique to each manufacturer.

What you are replacing is called a cassette body or freehub body. It is usually simple, but the exact process varies with the brand. Most manufactuters have this info at their websites.

This is an Easton 90 SLX wheel. Sorry about the non or incorrect terminology but yes-I'm asking if just replacing the cassette body is very difficult.

Same answer. Not very difficult, but I'd call or e-mail Easton. I'm not seeing the instructions at their website. If you buy a new cassette body, it should come with instructions.
