scott cr1 headset

I started having trouble with the oem headset and i am equiping my bike with ritchey bars, seatpost, and stem. i would like to do a ritchey headset as well but i do not know what kind of headset from ritchey to get campy or canecreek; integrated or semi-integrated. Does anybody know? That are my options? the current one i think is a missmatch because i get a gap from the fork the the bottom of the headtube of about 1/4".

I'd contact Scott USA or a Scott dealer to get the correct specs. If you tell them the model and year, you will get the exact type you need.

I looked at Scott's web site and, your right, it isn't much help.

If Scott USA is no help, about the only thing you can do is find a good bike shop of any kind and take your bike to them. They should be able to match what you need. There is nothing unique about Scott's headsets and, as you noted, there are basically two different integrated standards, Cane Creek and Campy, and they are pretty easy to tell apart.

I have a Fuji carbon frame and it LOOKS almost identical to the Scott frame & fork. Mine takes a Cane Creek 1-1/8" integrated headset.

My bearings have the size and seat angle printed/engraved on them.
