BB help: Italian with JIS

I need to replace the BB on my early 80s Viner. Mainly because I want to install a new crank (Suntour Cyclone) that requires a JIS square taper, and also the BB is pretty much done. I want something nice that will last. So basically I need a BB with Italian threading (36 x 24, 70 mm) and a JIS spindle. Recommendations?

Don't know which spindle length the Suntour Cyclone calls for, but I can think of 2 possible options:

a) old Shimano 105SC cup and cone BB's with Italian threaded cups. These pop up on eBay from time to time.

b) get a UN72 Shimano cartridge BB, take off the cups (they're ISO) and put the Shimano BB inside Phil Wood Italian threaded cups (which are kind of expensive).

Wether or not these options are viable depends on what spindle length you need.

IRD makes a nice cartridge bearing bottom bracket with JIS spindle. I believe they come in either English or Italian threading. Called the QB-55 or QB-75.

If the spindle length of 118 is even close to correct, this is a decent bb.

Suntour may have made BB's with Italian threads.
Yet another option is to buy a Phil bottom bracket in the length you need and get Italian cups with it.

If 118 mm spindle is to long, you can find Shimano UN54 Bottom Bracket Cartridge ITALIAN thread 36mm x 24TPI, BB shell width = 70mm with the following spindle lengths: 107 mm, 110 mm, 113 mm, 115 mm at Chain Reaction Cycles.
