Inner tube quality question

I saw Inline branded thorn resistant inner tubes for sale for $5.99. Another retailer has other items that I'd also like to purchase, and their Sunlite branded
thorn resistant inner tubes are $8.99. I asked the 2nd retailer to match the lower price and they declined, saying their Sunlite branded thorn resistant inner tubes cost more because they are a better quality.
Does the community agree with this online reseller about the better quality of Sunlite thorn resistant inner tubes, or am I being fed a line?

As usual, thanks in advance for your help,
Uni

Personally, I've never paid very much attention to the brand of inner tubes that I use. I might not be the best person to ask, however, because I only average maybe 1 flat per year. Then again, maybe that's an indication that I'm the guy you should be asking.

Thanks, I think they are all pretty much the same too. However, that's my opinion.

I suggest you concentrate on getting a bullet-proof tire - forget the inner-tube hype. If you have a good Kevlar-belt on the tire, and it gets punctured - do you REALLY think the inner-tube won't also be punctured? Put your money into tires - not the tubes. That's your best line of defense.

Thanks Panthers007, the thorn resistant inner tubes are only part of the setup. Coupled with Mr. Tuffy tire liners, thorn resistant inner tubes have provided puncture free riding since I have been using them last summer. I got a flat with my Kevlar belted tire. One was punctured by a thumb tack. I do not know if my new setup would have prevented that puncture or not. But thus far, I've been puncture free.
Thanks Jesus.
I'm still wondering if there is a quality difference between inner tubes.
Thanks for your thought,
Uni
